Kansas vs. Oklahoma State - 10/22/16 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Kansas Jayhawks are desperate for a win that would snap a brutal five-game losing streak. The Kansas Jayhawks don't have a Big 12 win since ther 2014 victory over Iowa State. Ryan Willis is completing 61.5 percent of his passes for 811 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. Willis has just one touchdown pass in his last five games. Steven Sims Jr. and LaQuvionte Gonzalez have combined for 831 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Shakiem Barbel has 15 receptions. The Kansas Jayhawks ground game is averaging 94.8 yards per contest, and Ke'aun Kinner leads the way with 264 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Kansas is allowing 35.7 points and 424.8 yards per game. Fish Smithson leads the Kansas Jayhawks with 32 tackles, Dorance Armstrong Jr. has six sacks and Brandon Stewart has two interceptions.

The Cowboys are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win and the over is 4-0 in Cowboys last 4 games in October. The under is 4-0 in Jayhawks last 4 games on fieldturf and 6-0 in Jayhawks last 6 vs. a team with a winning record. The Cowboys are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings and the favorite is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings.

You have to feel that the Kansas Jayhawks are tired of losing and eager to get a feel good victory. While that's likely not going to happen here, Kansas can compete with Oklahoma State and keep this game within the number. Oklahoma State hasn't blown a team out since its opening week win over the Southeastern Louisiana Lions. Two of the last four meetings between OK State and Kansas have been decided by seven or less points.

I'll take my chances with the Jayhawks and the points at home.
