The TCU Horned Frogs head to the West Virginia Mountaineers in Saturday college football action.

The Texas Christian Horned Frogs are tough to figure where the fit in college football especially after their narrow 24-23 victory at Kansas with a 10-0 4th quarter run getting the job done. The Jayhawks outgained TCU 470-386 with both teams giving the ball away four times each. Horned Frogs quarterback Kenny Hill struggled with mistakes as he completed 17-32 for 2-6 yards and a touchdown along with three interceptions with Jaelan catching a 25 yard scoring strike. Kyle Hicks gave Texas Christian a threat on the ground with 104 yards and a three yard scoring run on 18 carries although many were surprised at the difficulty TCU had.

TCU Horned Frogs at West Virginia Mountaineers - 10/22/16 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The West Virginia Mountaineers have been rolling through their college football schedule with a 5-0 record after throttling Texas Tech 48-17 as a three point road favorite. The Mountaineers racked up 650 yards with the ability to run or throw while the Red Raiders were held to 379 yards with no rushing attack. WVU quarterback Skyler Howard completed 21-31 for 318 yards and a touchdown with receivers Daikiel Shorts Jr. and Jovon Durante combining for five receptions for 183 yards. West Virginia was productive on the ground with Rushel Shell totaling 104 yards and a pair of scores on 21 carries while Kennedy McKoy and Howard combining for 188 yards on 16 totes with Howard scoring twice.

TCU are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games on fieldturf and TCU are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall while the under is 4-1 in TCU last 5 road games. The under is 7-1 in Mountaineers last 8 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game and West Virginia  are 1-7 ATS vs. a team with a winning record while the under is 6-1 in Mountaineers last 7 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game.

I think the ability of West Virginia to move the chains through the air or on the ground presents a problem for TCU…
