The Arkansas Razorbacks are 5-3 this season and they are coming off of a bye week that followed their worst SEC loss in school history losing to Auburn 56-3. The Arkansas offense is averaging 30.9 points and 416.8 yards per game and they have turned the ball over 15 times. Razorbacks QB Austin Allen has completed 62.2 percent of his passes with 18 touchdowns and 7 interceptions but his lack of mobility has led to him being sacked 21 times. The Florida Gators are 6-1 this season and control their own destiny as far as making it to the SEC Championship Game. The Florida offense is averaging 29.4 points and 398.6 yards per game and they have turned the ball over 10 times. Gators QB Luke Del Rio has completed 57.9 percent of his passes with 8 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Jordan Scarlett is UF’s top rusher with 468 yards and 6 touchdowns and Lamical Perine has 333 yards and a touchdown while Antonio Callaway is the top receiver with 27 catches and 2 touchdowns and DeAndre Goolsby has 26 catches and a touchdown. The Florida defense has been outstanding allowing 11.7 points and 239.9 yards per game with 10 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries, and 21 sacks. Jarrad Davis is the Gators top tackler with 55 tackles, Alex Anzalone has 45 tackles, and Jabari Zuniga has 5 sacks. Despite the shaky QB play the Florida defense hasn’t been forced into a lot of bad spots and they have been able to carry the team.
Arkansas is 4-1 against the spread following a loss, 10-4 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread, and 1-4 against the spread in their last five games. Florida is 10-3 against the spread in their last 13 road games, 10-4 against the spread in their last 14 SEC games, and 11-5 against the spread against a team with a winning record. The favorite has covered the point spread in 4 of the last 5 meetings of these two teams.
The line here looks really light so I am a little wary as I don't see how Arkansas moves the ball here. Florida's offense isn't very good but give the small number the Gators are my play.
