The Florida Gators and Arkansas Razorbacks meet Saturday afternoon in a SEC college football game at Razorback Stadium on CBS.
The Florida Gators look for their second road victory of the season to remain in the college football playoff conversation. The Florida Gators have won six of their last nine road games overall. Luke Del Rio is completing 57.9 percent of his passes for 1,129 yards, eight touchdowns and six interceptions. Del Rio has thrown four interceptions in his last two games. Defensively, Florida is allowing 11.7 points and 239.4 yards per game. Jarrad Davis leads the Florida Gators with 55 tackles, Jabari Zuniga has five sacks and Teez Tabor has four interceptions.
The Arkansas Razorbacks look to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time and become bowl eligible with a victory. The Arkansas Razorbacks have six victories over ranked teams since the 2014 season. Austin Allen is completing 62.2 percent of his passes for 2,048 yards, 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Allen has two or more touchdown passes in seven of his last eight games. The Gators are 11-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games. The Razorbacks are 21-8 ATS in their last 29 games in November and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Gators are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 meetings and the favorite is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
Arkansas has had an extra week to prepare for this game, but I'm not sure that matters after what we saw with the Razorbacks against the Auburn Tigers. The Florida Gators defense is arguably the best in the country and is going to make life very difficult for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Florida is also 9-1 all time against Arkansas with that one loss coming back in 1982. Give me the Gators and the small line.
