TCU vs. Oklahoma State - 11/19/16 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The TCU Horned Frogs look for a big home victory to become bowl eligible for a third straight season. The TCU Horned Frogs have three victories over ranked teams since the start of last season. Kenny Hill is completing 61.6 percent of his passes for 2,694 yards, 14 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Hill has one or less touchdown passes in four straight games. Taj Williams and John Diarse have combined for 1,023 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Kyle Hicks has 33 receptions. The TCU Horned Frogs ground game is averaging 196 yards per contest, and Hicks leads the way with 789 yards and 12 touchdowns. Defensively, TCU is allowing 29.2 points and 410.2 yards per game. Travin Howard leads the TCU Horned Frogs with 100 tackles, Josh Carraway has 6.5 sacks and Nick Orr has four interceptions.

The Cowboys are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. The Horned Frogs are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games. The home team is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

Even with TCU having an extra week to prepare, I'm not sure why the Horned Frogs are the favorites here. TCU hasn't been impressive this season and hasn't been consistent enough offensively that makes me think it can keep up with Oklahoma State. The Oklahoma State Cowboys are the real deal and have had success on the road already. Any time you can get the better team and the points, you take it. That's why OK State is my pick for this contest.
