The Kent State Golden Flashes are not heading anywhere with only three wins to their credit as neither side of the ball was consistent, especially the offense. The Golden Flashes enter the final game of the year off of a 42-7 defeat at Bowling Green where the Falcons held a 597-254 yardage edge and overcame three turnovers. Kent quarterback Nick Holley went 8-19 for 127 yards and a 2nd quarter TD while George Bollas hit 7-9 for 118 yards in the second half. Earnest Calhoun was the top receiver with 112 yards on five receptions including a 56 yard scoring strike. The Golden Flashes had no rushing attack to lean on with 22 yards on nine carries and this was a day they needed a ground game to keep Bowling Green off the field.
