The Texas Longhorns need a victory after losing six of their last nine games and losing last week to the Kansas Jayhawks. The Texas Longhorns have to win this game in order to become bowl eligible. Shane Buechele is completing 62.5 percent of his passes for 2,740 yards, 21 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Buechele has two or more touchdown passes in five of his last seven games. Armanti Foreman and Dorian Leonard have combined for 798 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Devin Duvernay has 17 receptions. The Texas Longhorns ground game is averaging 243.8 yards per contest, and D’Onta Foreman leads the way with 1,863 yards and 15 touchdowns. Defensively, Texas is allowing 31.5 points and 444.7 yards per game. Anthony Wheeler leads the Texas Longhorns with 65 tackles, Breckyn Hager has six sacks and Dylan Haines has four interceptions.

The Horned Frogs are 0-5 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Longhorns are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in November and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games. The under is 35-17-1 in Longhorns last 53 home games and the under is 4-1 in Horned Frogs last 5 games overall.

It'd be easy to fade the Texas Longhorns after losing to Kansas and Charlie Strong all but out of a coaching job. Yes, Texas is a mess right now and still doesn't play defense. However, a lot of the players love Strong and we've seen teams rally around their coach and put together one last strong effort. This is also the Longhorns last chance to clinch a bowl and it's also senior day. Not to mention TCU isn't some worldbeater Texas is going to be afradi of. Bottom line, If there was any game Texas would put it all on the line and play hard, it would be this one.

I'll take the Longhorns and the slight chalk.
