The Notre Dame Fighting Irish also look for a 2-0 start after beating Temple, 49-16, in their season opener. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have lost four of their last six home games. Brandon Wimbush is completing 56.7 percent of his passes for 184 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Wimbush now has two touchdown passes on 35 career pass attempts. Equanimeous St. Brown and Durham Smythe have combined for 114 receiving yards and one touchdown while Nic Weishar has three receptions. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish ground game is averaging 422 yards per contest, and Josh Adams leads the way with 161 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Notre Dame is allowing 18.7 points and 330 yards per game. Nyles Morgan leads the Notre Dame Fighting Irish with eight tackles, Te'von Coney has one sack and Shaun Crawford has one pass deflection.

The Bulldogs are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up win. The Fighting Irish are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games, 2-6 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win. The over is 5-1 in Fighting Irish last 6 games in September and the under is 15-6 in Bulldogs last 21 games overall.

I'm still feeling both of these teams out due to new quarterback play and the fact they've both been rather inconsistent programs the last couple of seasons. However, I was a bit surprised how Notre Dame ran all over Temple in the opener, as the Owls are usually solid defensively and well coached. If that's a sign of things to come, the Irish are in good hands this season. We know what Georgia brings to the table in terms of atheltes, but I have to see a big road victory before I can have trust in the Bulldogs winning a game like this. So, in a game I don't have a strong feel on, I'll lay the reasonable line with the home team.
