The #12 LSU Tigers will look to add to their strong performance in the season opener, shutting out BYU by a final score of 27-0. Danny Etling led the Tigers at QB, completing all but 3 of his 17 pass attempts for 171 yards. Derrius Guice racked up 122 yards and a pair of touchdowns on his 27 carries, while Darrel Williams added 92 yards and a score of his own with his 15 touches out of the backfield. DJ Chark led the Tigers receivers with 4 catches for 77 yards as no other LSU receiver had more than 2 catches in the win. Chattanooga is 2-3 ATS in their last 5 road games and 2-3 ATS in their last 5 games overall while the under is 3-1 in their last 4 games overall. LSU is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall while the under is 9-1 in their last 10 home games.
LSU looks like they could once again challenge for the SEC and the national championship, and while the Mocs have hung with the big boys in the past, I just think this LSU team will be too physical and too strong for Chattanooga to even come close. I'll take LSU in a landslide.
