The Spartans are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games in September, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games on fieldturf and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Longhorns are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games. The under is 7-0 in Longhorns last 7 games overall and the under is 6-2 in Spartans last 8 games overall.
San Jose State has a hard time hanging with teams in the MWC and was just beat up by USF in its season opener. There's little to suggest the Spartans can give the Longhorns a run for their money, especially on the road. However, the Texas Longhorns were downright awful in their opener against a Maryland squad that has less talent across the board. It was so bad that I'm not even considering eating the four touchdown line. They have a new coach, but I saw the same team Charlie Strong was coaching. Maybe the Longhorns actually play to their potential and win in a blowout, but I'm not betting on it. I'm taking my 28 points as a fade from Texas.
