The Northern Illinois Huskies and Nebraska Cornhuskers meet Saturday in college football action at Memorial Stadium on FS1.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers also need a victory to get a game above a .500 record. The Nebraska Cornhuskers have won eight straight home games. Tanner Lee is completing 52.1 percent of his passes for 490 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions. Lee has eight touchdown passes in his last four games. Stanley Morgan Jr. and De'Mornay Pierson-El have combined for 292 receiving yards and five touchdowns while Tyler Hoppes has five receptions. The Nebraska Cornhuskers ground game is averaging 167 yards per contest, and Tre Bryant leads the way with 299 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Nebraska is allowing 39 points and 531.5 yards per game. Aaron Williams leads the Nebraska Cornhuskers with 18 tackles, Dedrick Young II has one sack and Tyrin Ferguson has one interception.

The Huskies are 23-7-2 ATS in their last 32 road games, 10-1 ATS in their last 11 vs. Big Ten and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Cornhuskers are 1-3-2 ATS in their last 6 home games, 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games in September and 12-5-1 ATS in their last 18 non-conference games. The over is 4-0 in Cornhuskers last 4 games overall and the under is 6-1 in Huskies last 7 games overall.

This game will tell us just how good Northern Illinois is, as the first two games haven't exactly given me a good read on the Huskies just yet. Nebraska on the other hand has been rather decent and just went on the road and hung with the Oregon Ducks. In fact, if Lee doesn't throw four interceptions, the Cornhuskers probably win that game outright as 10.5-point underdogs. I like the Nebraska Cornhuskers to play a cleaner game at home and get a nice comfortable victory against a Northern Illinois squad that hasn't played many big boys out of conference recently.
