The Eagles come off their bye week sky high following a 16-13 victory at the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as a 5.5 point underdog. EMU held a 374-326 advantage in yards with a 2-1 edge in turnovers in what was a grind it out defensive struggle. Eastern Michigan wasn’t able to muster much of anything on the ground with Shaq Vann totaling 67 yards on 16 carries while Breck Turner added 33 yards on seven touches. The Eagles were not totally clicking through the air but they were productive with quarterback Brogan Roback connecting on 19-36 for 260 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions. Sergio Bailey was the top EMU receiver with 107 yards on five receptions while Antoine Porter caught seven passes for 62 yards including an eight yard score. Brody Hoying saved EMU with a 71 yard interception return so the defense was the star of the game.
The over is 4-0 in Ohio last 4 games overall and Ohio are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games on fieldturf while the over is 4-0 in Ohio last 4 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game. Eastern Michigan are 7-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and Eastern Michigan are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in September while the under is 4-0 in Eastern Michigan last 4 games following a ATS win.
I think Ohio can win their division and it that’s how I see it why not take the points on a team that wants to avenge last season’s loss…
