South Alabama has had a tough schedule to start the season with games at Ole Miss and Oklahoma State, and although they must be disappointed after letting a win slip through their fingers against Idaho, has to be encouraged by the defensive performance they put up against a good Idaho offense. Louisiana Tech has looked good in the past two weeks in both their games against Western Kentucky and South Carolina and will continue to look to find their offense after losing so much talent on that end after last season. Louisiana Tech is a tough place to play, however, I really liked what I saw out of the Jaguars defense last week and as I think South Alabama will be able to put up some points against a weak Bulldogs defense, I’m taking South Alabama and the points in this one.
