Coastal Carolina outgained Louisiana Monroe by a 441-344 margin and lost the turnover battle by a 3-0 margin. The Panthers are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games in October and 10-3-1 TS in their last 14 conference games. The Chanticleers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games and 1-10 SU in their last 11 games.
Georgia State will come into this game well rested after their game against Memphis was cancelled last week and will look to build off their solid performance against Charlotte. This is the 1st year that Coastal Carolina is in the FBS and although their offense has shown some signs of being able to compete, the Chanticleers have really struggled on the defensive end as they currently rank 124th in scoring defense. Georgia State has a solid defense that I think will Coastal Carolina some trouble in the this game and as the Panthers have a few offensive weapons that should have success against the Coastal Carolina defense, I think the Panthers cover this small road spread.
