UB Stadium and the Buffalo Bulls host the Bowling Green Falcons in week eleven college football.
The Bowling Green Falcons aren’t going to the postseason and a win at Buffalo will assure that the Bulls don’t either. Bowling Green comes in off of a 44-16 victory at the Kent State Golden Flashes as a 1.5 point favorite for their second win of the year. The Falcons opened the game with a 17-0 first quarter on the way to a 425-284 yardage advantage while recovering a fumble and intercepting three passes.
BGSU quarterback Jarret Doege was an efficient 14-18 for 174 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Teo Redding and Datrin Guyton. Andrew Clair was Bowling Green’s top running back with 111 and a score on eight totes while Josh Cleveland added 60 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Matthew Wilcox contributed to the Falcons scoring with 61 yard kick return while Marcus Milton returned a pick 22 yards.
The Buffalo Bulls will be out to save their season when the Bowling Green Falcons come to town in week eleven. Buffalo went in to the bye week on a 21-20 defeat at the Akron Zips as a field goal road favorite. The Bulls owned a 454-367 yardage edge with almost 34 minutes of possession behind a pass heavy attack.
Emmanuel Reed gave Buffalo a presence on the ground with 116 yards and scoring runs of two and ten yards on 28 carries. Bulls quarterback Tyree Jackson was the Bulls best weapon as he connected on 34-50 for 313 yards and an interception. Kamathi Holsey was the top UB receiving option with seven receptions for 100 yards for his second 100+ yard receiving total in three contests.
