Cincinnati has won the last three meetings against East Carolina and has had slightly the better season overall. However, I'm never big on laying chalk with teams that have a hard time winning games outright. The Cincinnati Bearcats have lost six of their last seven and haven't been much better on the road. East Carolina remains one of the worst defensive teams in the country, but the Pirates did just take Tulane to overtime last week and beat BYU in the home game before that, showing that there's still some fight in this team. This will also be the last home game of the season for East Carolina, and there are 26 seniors on this roster. Things like that matter, as guys want to go out with a victory. Don't love this game at all and won't bet it personally, but if forced to pick, give me my free field goal.
