College football action comes to Apogee Stadium where the North Texas Mean Green host the Army Black Knights.
The Army Black Knights have been enjoying one of their best seasons in recent memory and look for the success to continue when the team visits the North Texas Mean Green. Army racked up their 6th straight win in a 21-16 victory versus the Duke Blue Devils as a field goal home dog. The Black Knights led 21-10 at the half and let their defense take control over the final two quarters.

Neither offense did much with Army holding a slight 268-253 edge in yards and a 2-1 advantage in turnovers with Javhari Boudeau returning a punt 25 yards for a score. Black Knights quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw was 1-1 with a 42 yard completion to Kell Walker while leading the rushing attack with 96 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown. Andy Davidson added 64 yards on ten touches as the Black Knights stayed on the ground.
The North Texas Mean Green face the option attack of the Army Black Knights on Saturday. North Texas will be gunning for win number four in a row after downing the UTEP Miners 45-10 behind dominant play on both sides of the football. UNT led just 14-7 at the intermission before coming to life offensively over the final two quarters. The Mean Green led the yardage battle 472-231 behind a balanced attack and stifling defensive effort with the Miners touchdown coming on a fumble return.
North Texas quarterback Mason Fine connected on 23-35 for 213 yards and for touchdowns with Rico Bussey Jr. and Michael Lawrence combining for eight receptions for 128 yards. Jeffery Wilson supplied punch in the UNT rushing attack with 144 yards on 20 carries and a score with Nic Smith adding 67 yards on ten touches.
Over is 5-0 in Army last 5 vs. CUSA and under is 6-1 in Army last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and under is 5-1 in Army last 6 games in November. Over is 7-0 in North Texas last 7 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game and North Texas are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 20 points in their previous game and North Texas are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games.
I think North Texas will at least keep the Army option from dominating and the offense will be balanced enough to score enough for the cover…
