Out at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday evening, we’ve got a great college football matchup coming between the Miami Hurricanes and the Clemson Tigers.
Miami comes into this game with a 10-1 record overall. The Hurricanes were previously unbeaten until last weekend, when they lost to Pitt in a shocker. In that game, Miami QB Malik Rosier logged 187 yards and two touchdowns.

On the year, Rosier has 2807 yards with 25 TDs and nine INTs, and Travis Homer is the top Hurricanes rusher with 861 yards and seven TDs. Heading up the Hurricanes receiving corps is Braxton Berrios with 583 yards and nine scores.
Over on the Clemson side, they’re currently 11-1 on the year. Following their lone blemish against Syracuse, the Tigers have beaten Georgia Tech, NC State, Florida State, the Citadel and South Carolina. In that SC game, Clemson QB Kelly Bryant put up 272 yards and two scores.
So far this season, Bryant has 2426 yards with 12 TDs and six picks, and Travis Etienne is the leading Clemson rusher with 720 yards and 12 scores. Deon Cain is tops in the Tigers’ receivers on 620 yards and five TDs from 49 catches.
The Hurricanes are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six conference games. Miami is also 1-5 ATS in their last six games in December and 1-6 ATS in their last seven neutral-site games.
Meanwhile, the Tigers are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 neutral-site games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games in December. Clemson is also 6-2-1 ATS versus a team with a winning record and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
Miami just plain came out flat against the Panthers, and with the lackadaisical way they played the loss was understandable, if also shocking. Clemson, meanwhile, has been pretty good about playing up to their competition this year. Although this will be the toughest test for the Tigers so far, I do like Clemson to bag a win here. The line is just too thick to get me off the Hurricanes, though.
