The Grambling State Tigers look to win their 12th straight game and haven’t lost since their September 2 meeting with the Tulane Green Wave. The Grambling State Tigers have lost just two games since the start of last season. DeVante Kincade is completing 59.6 percent of his passes for 2,680 yards, 21 touchdowns and three interceptions. Kincade has two or more touchdown passes in seven of his last eight games. Darrell Clark and Martez Carter have combined for 642 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Quintin Guice has 26 receptions. The Grambling State Tigers ground game is averaging 141.9 yards per contest, and Carter leads the way with 842 yards and 10 touchdowns. Defensively, Grambling State is allowing 20.4 points and 331.3 yards per game. De'Arius Christmas leads the Grambling State Tigers with 80 tackles, La'Allan Clark has eight sacks and De'Aumante Johnson has five interceptions.
Both of these teams deserve this spot after impressive seasons in which they both played at a high level and showed flashiness on both sides of the ball. But in terms of picking a winner, you have to side with the North Carolina A&T Aggies. North Carolina A&T is extremely balanced offensively and doesn't give up anything easy on the defensive end. The Aggies have allowed more than 20 points just once this season and have won all but two games by double digits. The Grambling State Tigers are likely going to struggle with the athletes North Carolina AT&T has on both sides of the ball, and we've seen the Tigers have to overcome deficits against lesser teams. North Carolina A&T just dominates on both sides and has given us no reason to look the other way with great consistency. I'll take the Aggies to win yet again by double digits.
