The Alabama Crimson Tide will look to keep rolling after pummelling Louisville in their season opener by a final score of 51-14 in their last outing. Arkansas State is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 non-conference games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games against the SEC. Alabama is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a winning record and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games against the Sun Belt while the under is 8-3 in their last 11 non-conference games.
I love a good underdog as much as the next person, but I counted the Tide out last week against Louisville, and while they may not have the same drive against Arkansas State, I’m not going against Alabama two weeks in a row. Hansen won’t have 6 touchdowns against Alabama and while big spreads like this leave the door open for a backdoor cover, I shudder to think what Alabama will do to Arkansas State after what they did to Louisville. Lay the points with Alabama here.
