Taivon Jacobs and Jeshuan Jones caught five and two passes respectively while combining for 146 yard and a touchdown each while Tayon Fleet-Davis was the top Terps rushing attack with 31 totes for 31 yards and a TD. Maryland did allow a safety but won the turnover battle in a game where the defense did just enough.

The Bowling Green Falcons were in the wrong place at the wrong time in a season opening 58-24 defeat at Oregon as a 35 point underdog. Bowling Green led 10-0 before the roof caved in with the Ducks amassing a 504-389 yardage advantage. The Falcons saw quarterback Jarret Doege connect on 22-38 for 253 yards and three touchdowns along with a pair of interceptions.

Scott Miller led BGSU with 13 receptions for 166 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Andrew Clair had some success on the ground with 113 yards on 25 carries. Both sides gave the ball away three times but the Falcons threw a pick six and had a snap go out of the end zone for a safety.

Over is 7-1 in Maryland last 8 games on fieldturf and Maryland are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games on fieldturf and over is 6-1 in Maryland last 7 road games. Bowling Green are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and over is 7-0 in Bowling Green last 7 games following a straight up loss of more than 20 points and Bowling Green are 0-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

I don’t know if Maryland is ready to be big road chalk but I like what I saw this team do against the Longhorns…
