Kentucky is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 conference matchups and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall while the under is 6-1 in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record. Florida is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 conference matchups and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 home games against a team with a winning road record. The favorite is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams.
Florida appears to have finally got their feet underneath them and look ready to put last season’s disappointing year behind them. Kentucky played well, but the quarterback play leaves something to be desired as Benny Snell can’t do it all on his own and if the Gators can stop the run, I think this one could get ugly. However, 3 of the last 4 meetings between these two sides have been decided by single digits, so while I see Florida getting the win, I’m going to take a shot and say that Kentucky does enough to keep this one within the line so I’ll take a shot with Kentucky and the points.
