Jamil Sabbagh led CMU with a pair of receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown while Poljan topped the rushing attack with 43 yards on ten carries.
The Northern Illinois Huskies have lost back to back contests to open 2018 following a 17-6 loss to visiting Utah as a 12 point underdog. Northern Illinois held the Utes to 354 yard but could only counter with 228 yards with both squads giving the ball away twice.
