After a one sided loss to USC to begin the season, the UNLV Rebels torched Texas El Paso 52-24 in week two. UNLV raced to a 38-10 lead at the half and never looked back behind a 533-388 yardage edge and three forced turnovers.
Rebels quarterback Armani Rogers completed 6-13 for 119 yards and a trio of touchdowns and no turnovers. Rogers was better with his legs running for 103 yards on ten totes and a score while Lexington Thomas led UNLV with 127 yards on 17 carries and a pair of scores. The Rebels saw Mekhi Stevenson snare a 51 yard scoring strike and Darren Woods Jr. catch three passes for 51 yards and a TD.
