The Purdue Boilermakers and Illinois Fighting Illini meet Saturday in college football action at Memorial Stadium.

Rivers and AJ Bush Jr. have combined for four touchdown passes and one interception this season. The Boilermakers are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games on fieldturf, 15-5-2 ATS in their last 22 road games and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Fighting Illini are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games following a ATS win. The Boilermakers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings, the underdog is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings and the over is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings in Illinois.
The Purdue Boilermakers are starting to earn some respect from the oddsmakers after beating Boston College and going on the road to smack Nebraska. However, two solid wins don't make me forget the years of losing and bad football from the Boilermakers over the years. The Illinois Fighting Illini are playing some of their best and most consistent football in years and have one of the top rushing offenses in the country. To just make the Fighting Illini double-digit underdogs at home seems like disrespect and something I'm not willing to do. I don't think Purdue has shown enough to be laying this sort of chalk on the road in a conference game.
