The Miami Hurricanes will meet up with the Boston College Eagles from BC Alumni Stadium on Friday in ACC college football activity.
Miami comes into this game at 5-2 on the season. The Hurricanes have taken victories against Savannah State, Toledo, FIU, North Carolina and Florida State this year, while recording losses to LSU and Virginia.

In the Virginia game, Miami QB Malik Rosier posted 170 yards with a pick, and Travis Homer led the rush on 95 yards from eight carries. Tops in receiving was Lawrence Cager, leading Miami on 58 yards from three grabs.
Over on the Boston College side, they’re sitting at 5-2 as well. The Eagles’ two losses came against Purdue and NC State, while they took out UMass, Holy Cross, Wake Forest, Temple and Louisville.
In the Cardinals game, Boston College QB Jawon Pass logged 170 yards and an INT, and Hassan Hall put up 39 yards with a TD. Dez Fitzpatrick led the Eagles receivers with 50 yards on four catches.
The Hurricanes are 4-1 ATS in their last five Friday games and 1-5 ATS in their last six conference games. Miami is 1-5 ATS in their last six road games and 1-6 ATS versus a team with a winning record.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are 7-0 ATS in their last seven October games and 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12 conference games. Boston College is 7-1-1 ATS versus a team with a winning record and 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games overall.
The Hurricanes had a nice little win streak going, but started showing signs of wear in the Florida State game that culminated in the 16-13 loss to Virginia. Offensively Miami has a lot of question marks going on which will impact them going forward.
As for Boston College, they seem to be catching a bit of a rhythm since that Purdue game (although sometimes ugly on the field), and have put up at least 23 points in each of their last three outings—38 coming in two of those. I like the Eagles to keep things going here and take a cover.
