The Kansas Jayhawks snapped a four game slide with a 27-26 upset of TCU as a two touchdown home dog on Saturday. Kansas was outgained 504-307 but played mistake free while the Horned Frogs lost a fumble and threw a pick.
Peyton Bender enjoyed a strong passing day for the Jayhawks connecting on 19-29 for 249 yards and a pair of touchdowns while losing 18 yards on five carries.
Khalil Hebert topped the Kansas rushing attack with 38 yards on 21 carries with a TD followed by Pooka Williams Jr. totaled 33 yards on eleven totes. Williams excelled in the Jayhawks passing attack with seven receptions for 102 yards and two scores.
