The Maryland Terrapins and Minnesota Golden Gophers meet Saturday in college football action at Memorial Stadium.
The Maryland Terrapins look to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time this season while becoming bowl eligible for the fourth time in the last six years. The Maryland Terrapins have lost six of their last seven road games. Kasim Hill is completing 50.6 percent of his passes for 1,040 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions. Hill has one or less touchdown passes in nine of his 12 career games. Taivon Jacobs and Jeshaun Jones have combined for 416 receiving yards and five touchdowns while DJ Turner has 13 receptions. The Maryland Terrapins ground game is averaging 221.7 yards per contest, and Anthony McFarland leads the way with 514 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Maryland is allowing 24.4 points and 339.8 yards per game. Tre Watson leads the Maryland Terrapins with 91 tackles, Byron Cowart has three sacks and Darnell Savage Jr. has four interceptions.

The Indiana Hoosiers need a win here to snap a four-game losing streak and increase their odds of a bowl berth. The Indiana Hoosiers have lost three straight home games. Peyton Ramsey is completing 68.2 percent of his passes for 2,092 yards, 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Ramsey has two or more touchdown passes in six of his last 10 games. Nick Westbrook and Donavan Hale have combined for 673 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Ty Fryfogle has 24 receptions. The Indiana Hoosiers ground game is averaging 158.3 yards per contest, and Stevie Scott leads the way with 791 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, Indiana is allowing 29.8 points and 399.6 yards per game. Dameon Willis Jr. leads the Indiana Hoosiers with 48 tackles, Marcelino Ball has 2.5 sacks and Bryant Fitzgerald has three interceptions.
The Terrapins are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in November. The Hoosiers are 5-16-1 ATS in their last 22 conference games, 2-5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 4-13-1 ATS in their last 18 games overall. The over is 4-0 in Hoosiers last 4 games overall and the over is 7-3 in Terrapins last 10 road games.
The Maryland Terrapins still have things to play for, as they're a win away from becoming bowl eligible and finishing the season strong. However, it's hard to back the Terps given the black cloud around the program and all the outside noise. While Michigan State is great defensively, Maryland managed just nine first downs and 100 total yards in its loss last week. The Maryland Terrapins seem like a team that's ready for the season to end so they can get away from this mess. The Indiana Hoosiers obviously have trouble of their own, but they usually compete hard and can drastically increase their chances at a bowl bid with a victory here. I want no part of Maryland right now. The small chalk and Indiana at home feels like one of the better options on the board this weekend.
