The Braves were led by dual threat quarterback Noah Johnson who completed 61.5% of his throws for 1,451 yards with ten touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Johnson also topped the ASU rushing attack with 664 yards on 89 carries for an impressive 8.2 yard average while De’Shawn Waller and PJ Simmons almost 1,200 yard on 216 carries.
Raidarious Anderson gave the Alcorn State passing game explosiveness with 21 catches for 390 yards (18.6 ypc) while Chris Blair totaled 385 yards on 30 receptions.
The North Carolina A&T Aggies head to the Celebration Bowl after winning the MEAC and finishing the year at 9-2 with balance on both sides of the football that saw the team outscore the opposition 29.2-14.8.
Lamar Raynard paced the North Carolina A&T passing attack connecting on 54.6% of his passes for 1,247 yards and a solid 15-5 touchdown/interception ratio.
Zachary Leslie topped the Aggies receiving corps with 33 catches for 438 yards and even TD’s with Malik Wilson and Elijah Bell combining for 51 receptions for 640 yards.
Marquell Cartwright led North Carolina A&T on the ground with 634 yards on 132 touches with Jah-Maine Martin adding 392 yards on 59 totes.
