Georgia State is 2-11-2 ATS in their last 15 road games and 3-9-2 ATS in their last 14 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games as an underdog. Troy is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a win and 13-6-1 ATS in their last 20 conference games while the under is 5-0-1 in their last 6 games overall. Georgia State is 3-1-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
I get Troy being favored at home, but I’m not overly fond of their 3-1 record, as the 3 wins were pretty much cakewalks over Middle Tennessee, Texas State and Eastern Kentucky while being stomped by BYU in their second game. Georgia State hasn’t been pretty, and they don’t play a lick of defense, but they’ve controlled or been in all three of their games up to this point and both teams are only outscoring their opponents by 3+ points per game but Georgia State’s competition was the tougher complete schedule across the board. I’ll side with Georgia State and the free points on the road here.
