The Missouri Tigers and the Kentucky Wildcats meet in SEC Week 8 college football action from Faurot Field on Saturday afternoon.

The Kentucky Wildcats will look to build on back-to-back wins after a 34-7 win over Tennessee last time out. Terry Wilson has thrown for 564 yards, 3 touchdowns and an interception on 64.4% passing while sitting second in rushing with 253 rushing yards and 3 scores. Christopher Rodriguez Jr. leads Kentucky in rushing with 257 rushing yards and four touchdowns while Asim Rose has 192 rushing yards. Josh Ali far and away leads Kentucky’s receiving corps with 246 yards and 22 grabs. Defensively, Jamin Davis leads Kentucky with 35 total tackles, including 19 solo tackles with a pair of interceptions as well. Jamar Watson has a team-high 3 sacks and Kelvin Joseph has a pair of interceptions for the Wildcats as well as Jordan Wright who has a pair of sacks.

The Missouri Tigers come into this one rested after a postponement with Vanderbilt following a 45-41 win over LSU last time out. Kentucky is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as a road favorite while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 road games. Missouri is 14-6 ATS in their last 20 home games and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall while the under is 7-2 in their last 9 conference games. Kentucky is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams and the under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings as well.

I really believe the postponement for Missouri couldn’t have come at a worse time for the Tigers, as all of the momentum from the massive win against LSU is pretty much gone. Kentucky flat out rolled Tennessee, and while the Wildcats are just 1-1 ATS on the road this season, the one loss was to Auburn in the season opener and the Wildcats have been a much better team since then. Laying points on the road like this isn’t ideal, but based on what we’ve seen lately, this feels like a game that Kentucky can win by a touchdown.
