The Tulane Green Wave and the UCF Knights meet in AAC week 8 college football action from the Bounce House on Saturday afternoon.

The Tulane Green Wave will try to rebound from back-to-back losses, sitting at 0-3 in AAC conference play after a 37-34 loss to SMU last time out. Michael Pratt has thrown for 475 yards, 4 touchdowns and an interception on 43.8% passing while Stephen Huderson and Cameron Carroll have combined for over 600 rushing yards, with Huderson logging 309 rushing yards while Carroll has 297 yards and a team-high 7 rushing touchdowns. Duece Watts, Phat Watts and Jha’Quan Jackson each have 100+ receiving yards for Tulane this season, with Jackson logging 100 yards and a pair of receiving touchdowns for the Green Wave. Defensively, Marvin Moody leads Tulane with 36 total tackles while Dorian Williams has 35 total tackles. Cameron Sample has a team-high 3 sacks while Williams has a pair of sacks for the Green Wave and Macon Clark has a pair of interceptions for Tulane’s defense.

The UCF Knights will be out to rebound from back-to-back losses, falling to 1-2 in AAC play after a 50-49 loss to Memphis last time out. Tulane is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a road underdog while the over is 4-0-1 in their last 5 games overall. UCF is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games as a favorite.

This is a hard game to figure out as I think UCF is without question the better team, but Tulane, as bad as they’ve looked at times, have the chops to hang with high-octane offensive units. I think UCF will come into this game ticked off, knowing that they’re a much better team than what we’ve seen in the last couple of weeks, but this is also a Tulane team that took UCF down to the wire in the last meeting and the Knights did just give up 50 points to Memphis and are allowing 33.3 points per game. I just think that there’s not that much of a disparity given the numbers here, so I’ll take my chances with Tulane and the points in this one.
