Indiana is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 conference games. Rutgers is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 conference games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games against a team with a winning road record while the under is 11-5 in their last 16 conference games. The home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings between these two teams.
I think you could argue that both sides could be in for a letdown after their massive wins respectively last week. However, Rutgers won at Michigan State and now get to play at home which is an advantage in itself and don’t get many opportunities at a winnable game against a top-25 opponent which Indiana is after that win against Penn State. The Hoosiers had a dramatic overtime win with the two-point convert to pull off the win against the Nittany Lions, but carrying that on the road may prove difficult and I could easily see Rutgers hanging around in this game as well. I just think this is too many points and even with a win and a top-25 ranking I need more than one game before laying double-digits on the road with Indiana. I’ll take a shot with Rutgers and the points in this one.
