North Texas is 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record and 6-20 ATS in their last 26 games overall while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games following a win. Louisiana Tech is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings between these two teams and 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings between these two teams at North Texas.
I get that scoring hasn’t been an issue for North Texas for much of the season and the Mean Green know how to put points on the board, but the defense has been atrocious and the Mean Green have given up 40+ points to teams like Southern Miss and Charlotte, not the best teams in the conference. Louisiana Tech hasn’t been great in conference play, but they just took down UAB which has to be a confidence booster and are a better defensive team than North Texas. You could take the points if you want, but I think Louisiana Tech wins this game outright so I’ll back the Bulldogs on the money line as my pick for this game.
