The UTSA Roadrunners and Rice Owls meet Saturday in week 10 C-USA college football action at Rice Stadium.

The UTSA Roadrunners need a feel good victory here after losing four of their last five games. The UTSA Roadrunners have lost three straight road games. Frank Harris is completing 58.1 percent of his passes for 895 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions. Harris and Lowell Narcisse have combined for seven touchdown passes and four interceptions this season. Zakhari Franklin and Joshua Cephus have combined for 776 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Brennon Dingle has 22 receptions. The UTSA Roadrunners ground game is averaging 174.7 yards per contest, and Sincere McCormick leads the way with 921 yards and seven touchdowns. The Rice Owls look for back-to-back victories to get a game above a .500 record. The Rice Owls have lost six of their last seven home games. Mike Collins is completing 57.7 percent of his passes for 475 yards, eight touchdowns and one interception. Collins has eight touchdown passes on his last 57 pass attempts. Austin Trammell and Jake Bailey have combined for 286 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Jordan Myers has six receptions. The Rice Owls ground game is averaging 181 yards per contest, and Juma Otoviano leads the way with 195 yards on 45 carries. Defensively, Rice is allowing 23 points and 360 yards per game. Blaze Alldredge leads the Rice Owls with 21 tackles, Trey Schuman has one sack and Miles McCord has one interception.

The Roadrunners are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games as an underdog. The Owls are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games in November and 6-13-1 ATS in their last 20 home games. The under is 5-0 in Roadrunners last 5 games overall. The under is 5-1 in Owls last 6 home games. The underdog is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. The under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in Rice and 6-2 in the last 8 meetings.

The UTSA Roadrunners have been held to 20 or less points in four of their last five games and have shown very little in the passing department to make you think they're capable of coming back in the second half. The Rice Owls are off to a strong start through two games and could easily be unbeaten on the season. Collins is tearing it up right now with eight touchdown passes and the Rice defense hasn't been too shabby either, which includes forcing four turnovers and 11 tackles for loss in two games. It's a small sample size, but you have to be impressed with what you've seen with Rice up to this point. We can't say the same about UTSA through more games.

I'll take Rice by a touchdown in this one.
