The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors host the Boise State Broncos when they meet Saturday in college football action from Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.

Boise State sits at 3-1 on the season. After their lone loss to BYU on November 6, the Broncos took out Colorado State in their most recent outing. As for Hawaii, they’re 2-2 this season. The Warriors have wins over Fresno State and New Mexico alongside losses to Wyoming and San Diego State this year. Check back all season long for free college football picks at Sports Chat Place.

Boise State has looked pretty good in their wins so far, and none of them has been close. The Broncos beat Utah State 42-13, then Air Force 49-30 and Colorado State 52-21. The only loss was a blowout for Boise State: 51-17 against a really good BYU team.

In the win over Colorado State on November 12, Boise State quarterback Hank Bachmeier put up 202 yards and a touchdown, while Khalil Shakir added 52 yards on four carries to lead the rush. CT Thomas topped the receivers in that one with six catches for 103 yards.

Over on the Hawaii side, they’ve got a couple of nice wins paired with two blowout losses so far in 2020. The Warriors’ two wins came 34-19 versus Fresno State in the opener and 39-33 against New Mexico in game three. Outside of that, it’s been losses to Wyoming 31-7 and San Diego State 34-10.

In the loss to the Aztecs, Hawaii quarterback Chevan Cordeiro put up 209 yards with a TD and an interception, while Calvin Turner led the rush with 39 yards on six carries. Turner was also the lead receiver for the Warriors there, with four catches for 116 yards and a touchdown.

The Broncos are 4-0 ATS in their last four conference games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven after an ATS loss. Boise State is 5-2 ATS in their last seven games after an ATS loss and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games after a straight-up loss.

Meanwhile, the Warriors are 16-33-1 ATS in their last 51 games overall and 15-36-1 ATS in their last 52 conference games. Hawaii is 8-20 ATS versus a team with a winning record and 10-27-1 ATS in their last 38 home games.

PICK: I’m going to go with Boise State here. The Broncos have been scoring very well outside of the BYU game. In their three wins, Boise State has a combined 143 points with 64 allowed on the other side. Hawaii, on the other hand, has a combined 73 points in their two wins, and a combined 17 points in their two losses. I don’t think this will be an outright blowout, but I like the Broncos enough to cover.
