The the Big 12’s Oklahoma Sooners and the SEC’s Florida Gators meet Wednesday in the college football’s Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington as college football bowl season continues.

The Oklahoma Sooners are riding a seven-game winning streak and look for their first bowl win since the 2016 season. The Oklahoma Sooners have won four straight non-home games. Spencer Rattler is completing 68 percent of his passes for 2,784 yards, 25 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Rattler has two or more touchdown passes in eight of his last 10 games. The Gators are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 bowl games and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Sooners are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs. SEC and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The over is 9-4 in Gators last 13 games overall. The under is 5-2 in Sooners last 7 neutral site games.
The Florida Gators have a bad defense and no running game, and they’re coming off back-to-back losses. However, the Gators also have one of the best passing attacks in the country and just went toe to toe with Alabama while dropping 46 points on their head. The Oklahoma Sooners haven’t lost since October 3, they have a top-10 scoring offense in the country and are the third best team at stopping the run. There’s value with the Sooners and the free field goal in what’s likely going to be a shootout game, but I’ll still back Florida and one of the top quarterbacks in college football. You’re also giving Dan Mullen extra time to prepare and come up with a creative offensive game plan.
Give me the Gators.
