Defensively, Sam Houston is allowing 17.5 points and 358.5 yards per game. The North Dakota State Bison aren't as good as they've been in years past, but they still get after it defensively and we all know what they're capable of come playoff time. North Dakota State is a program that just retools and competes for titles, and their history usually gets the benefit of the doubt from oddsmakers and bettors. With that said, the Sam Houston State Bearkats are unbeaten on the season and they've allowed no more than 17 points in each of their last six games. Sam Houston State's total offense per game is also the highest of any team left in the FCS quarterfinals.
