The Kentucky Wildcats meet the Chattanooga Mocs Saturday in week 3 college football action at Kroger Field. The Chattanooga Mocs look for a statement win to get a game above a .500 record. The Kentucky Wildcats look for another win after already beating UL Monroe and Missouri.

The Chattanooga Mocs have won three of their last four road games. Drayton Arnold is completing 42.3 percent of his passes for 130 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Reginald Henderson and Tyron Arnett have combined for 134 receiving yards and one touchdown while Chris James has two receptions. The Chattanooga Mocs ground game is averaging 146.5 yards per contest, and Ailym Ford leads the way with 172 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Chattanooga is allowing 15 points and 269 yards per game. Brandon Dowdell leads the Chattanooga Mocs with 10 tackles, Quay Wiggles has 1.5 sacks and Rashun Freeman has one pass deflection.

The Kentucky Wildcats look for their first 3-0 start since the 2018 CFB season. Will Levis is completing 63.6 percent of his passes for 546 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. Wan’Dale Robinson and Josh Ali have combined for 392 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Isaiah Epps has three receptions. The Kentucky Wildcats ground game is averaging 244 yards per contest, and Chris Rodriguez Jr. leads the way with 331 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Kentucky is allowing 19 points and 243 yards per game. DeAndre Square leads the Kentucky Wildcats with 12 tackles, J.J. Weaver has three sacks and Jacquez Jones has one interception.

The Chattanooga Mocs have been a middle of the road FCS team these last few years and they’ve done nothing through two games that makes you think different this season. The Kentucky Wildcats have one of their more talented teams they’ve had in quite some time and their ground attack has been impressive up to this point. If Kentucky is as good as it thinks it is this season, this is a game it should win comfortably. I’ll lay the chalk.
