The Oregon Ducks meet the Stony Brook Seawolves Saturday in week 3 college football action at Autzen Stadium. The Stony Brook Seawolves look for a monster upset win to get a game above a .500 record. The Oregon Ducks look for another win after beating Fresno State and Ohio State.

The Stony Brook Seawolves have lost four of their last six games overall. Tyquell Fields is completing 51.9 percent of his passes for 395 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Shawn Harris Jr. and Khalil Newton have combined for 204 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Delante Hellams Jr. has five receptions. The Stony Brook Seawolves ground game is averaging 205 yards per contest, and Ty Son Lawton leads the way with 176 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Stony Brook is allowing 15 points and 299.5 yards per game. Reidgee Dimanche leads the Stony Brook Seawolves with 14 tackles, Carthell Flowers has 1.5 sacks and Jordan Jackson has one interception.

The Oregon Ducks look for their fourth 3-0 start in the last five seasons. Anthony Brown is completing 54.2 percent of his passes for 408 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Johnny Johnson III and Kris Hutson have combined for 128 receiving yards and one touchdown while Jaylon Redd has three receptions. The Oregon Ducks ground game is averaging 227.5 yards per contest, and CJ Verde leads the way with 235 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Oregon is allowing 26 points and 492.5 yards per game. Mykael Wright leads the Oregon Ducks with 16 tackles, Bradyn Swinson has two sacks and Verone McKinley III has one interception.

The Stony Brook Seawolves haven’t been good in quite some time and they’ve been blasted over the years whenever playing FBS competition. Stony Brook simply doesn’t have the athletes to counter what Oregon has and it could lead to a bloodbath. The only concern I have with the Oregon Ducks here, as this is a potential letdown spot after the monster win over Ohio State last week. Other than that, Oregon should roll big. Stony Brook already lost to New Hampshire this season. Give me Oregon in a beatdown.
