The Colorado Buffaloes meet the Minnesota Golden Gophers in week 3 college football action from Folsom Field on Saturday afternoon.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers will look to build on their 31-26 win over the Miami-Ohio RedHawks last time out. Tanner Morgan has thrown for 317 yards and 3 touchdowns on 52.4% passing while Trayvon Potts has a team-high 212 rushing yards and a pair of rushing TDs in relief of Mohamed Ibrahim who went down with a season-ending injury. Dylan Wright leads Minnesota’s receiving group with 8 catches for 130 yards and a pair of touchdowns this season. Defensively, Mariano Sori-Marin has a team-high 16 total tackles while Terell Smith and Tyler Nubin each have an interception this season.

The Colorado Buffaloes will try to bounce back from a 10-7 loss at the hands of the Texas A&M Aggies last time out. Brandon Lewis has thrown for 191 yards, a touchdown and an interception on 57.5% passing while also rushing for 120 yards. Jarek Broussard leads the Buffaloes in rushing with 145 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns while Daniel Arias has a team-high 37 receiving yards and Brady Russell and Dimitri Stanley each have 4 receptions to lead Colorado in that department this season. Defensively, Nate Landman leads the Buffs with 14 solo tackles Na’Im Rodman has a pair of sacks for Colorado this season.

Minnesota is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games against the Pac-12. Colorado is 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following a loss and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games on grass while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 non-conference games.

I honestly think that this is a game where the line tells us the direction of this game. Most times, I’d give the edge to Minnesota as just the better team, but the loss of Ibrahim was a big one and the Gophers barely got by Miami-Ohio. Colorado was unlucky not to get a win against Texas A&M, but I think they make amends with a win and cover here.
