Prop Bets for College Football 9/17/21

It’s a lighter slate of college football games on Friday with only two games taking place, but there is still plenty of value in terms of prop bets. Let’s take a look at the best college football prop bets to make your Friday a winning one.

Dillon Gabriel over 331.5 passing yards (-115)

Dillon Gabriel didn’t even play that well in the last game, but he still threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns. Matt Corral threw for 381 yards and a touchdown in the first game of the season against this Louisville Cardinals defense. Gabriel is going to throw for 350 or 360 yards in this game.

Taulia Tagovailoa over 287.5 passing yards (-110)

Taulia Tagovailoa is going to sling the ball over the Illinois Fighting Illini defense. Brennan Armstrong threw for 405 yards and five touchdowns in the last game against Illinois. Tagovailoa threw for 274 yards in the last game, and Maryland didn’t even need him to really throw in the second half.

Illinois Fighting Illini under 26.5 points (-115)

Maryland isn’t known as an elite defensive team, but they held West Virginia to only 24 points in the first week. Illinois does have some playmakers but I don’t think they are as talented on West Virginia on that side of the ball. Illinois will finish under 26.5 points.

UCF/Louisville over 16.5 points – 1st quarter (+105)

There were 21 points total scored in the first quarter of UCF’s last game, and that included the seven points they gave up to Bethune-Cookman. UCF will get a couple of touchdowns, but I also expect Louisville can find at least a field goal to push this over.
