The New Mexico State Aggies meet Hawaii Warriors in Week 4 college football action from Aggie Memorial Stadium on Saturday night.

The Hawaii Warriors will be looking to rebound from a 17-13 loss to San Jose State at home in their last matchup. Chevan Cordeiro has thrown for 891 yards, 6 touchdowns and 5 interceptions on 55.4% passing while Dae Dae Hunter leads Hawaii in rushing with 161 yards. Nick Mardner has a team-high 242 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns while Calvin Turner Jr. has a team-high 17 catches for 238 yards. Hunter and Jared Smart each have 100+ receiving yard tallies as well up to this point in the season. Defensively, Darius Muasau has a team-high 23 total tackles with 16 solo tackles while Khoury Bethley has 16 solo tackles of his own. Jonah Laulu has a team-high 3 sacks and O’tay Baker has a pair of sacks for the Warriors this season.

The New Mexico State Aggies will try to build off of a narrow 43-35 win over South Carolina State last time out. Dino Maldonado’s thrown for 513 yards, 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions on 55.2% passing while Jonah Johnson has 444 passing yards, a touchdown and 3 picks on 51.1% passing. Juwaun Price leads New Mexico State’s ground attack with 156 rushing yards and a pair of scores while O’Maury Samuels has 115 rushing yards this season. Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda has a team-high 191 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns while Jared Wyatt and the aforementioned Price each have 100+ receiving yards this season. Terrell Warner has a team-high 12 catches as well for the Aggies this season. Joshua Ferguson leads New Mexico State’s defense with 30 total tackles including 15 solo tackles while Chris Ojoh and Lazarus Williams each have a pair of sacks. D.J. McCullough also has a pair of New Mexico State’s 6 interceptions on defense this season.

Hawaii is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 16-35 ATS in their last 51 games following a loss while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 road games. New Mexico State is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games as a home underdog.

I’m not a fan of either one of these teams if I’m being completely honest but if forced to pick this game, I’m siding with the over. Hawaii can put up points on this porous New Mexico State defense and As bad as they are, the Aggies are likely to get some points on Hawaii in their own right. There are better options on the board, but it’s over or pass for me here.
