The Air Force Falcons meet the FAU Owls in week 4 college football action from Falcon Stadium on Saturday night.

The FAU Owls will try to build on their 45-14 rout of Fordham in their last outing. N’Kosi Perry leads the Owls with 871 passing yards and 7 touchdowns on 63.1% passing while Malcolm Davidson has 165 rushing yards to lead FAU and Jonny Ford’s added 123 rushing yards as well this season. LaJohntay Weaver leads the Owls in receiving with 21 catches for 254 yardsand a pair of touchdowns while Brandon Robinson’s got 148 receiving yards and John Mitchell has 141 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns of his own this season. Defensively, Caliph Brice leads the Owls with 24 total tackles while Jordan Heim has a team-high 12 solo tackles. Teja Young has a pair of interceptions and Jaylen Joiner is responsible for both of FAU’s sacks this season.

The Air Force Falcons will look to bounce back from a 49-45 shootout loss to Utah State last time out. Haaziq Daniels has thrown for 281 yards, a touchdown and an interception on 44.4% passing while also rushing for 216 yards and 5 scores. Brad Roberts has a team-high 321 rushing yards with a pair of scores while Micah Davis has 146 rushing yards and 3 TDs and Emmanuel Michel has 139 rushing yards and a pair of scores as well this season. Davis leads the Falcons’ receivers with 7 catches for 164 yards and the team’s lone receiving score this season. Defensively, TD Blackmon has a team-high 17 total tackles while Vince Sanford leads the Falcons with 13 solo tackles and Demonte Meeks has 2.5 sacks this season.

FAU is 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 5-0 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record. Air Force is 22-8 ATS in their last 30 non-conference games and 14-29 ATS in their last 43 games following a loss while the under is 8-1 in their last 9 games as a favorite.

For me, there are better options on the board on Saturday, but if forced to pick, I’d lean towards the under. You have a low-scoring team in FAU and an Air Force team running an option offense that chews up a lot of clock more often than not. Don’t know how we get to 50+ between these two.
