The Northwestern Wildcats and the Nebraska Cornhuskers square off Saturday night in Big Ten conference college football action from Memorial Stadium.

The Northwestern Wildcats will look to build on a 35-6 win over Ohio last time out. Hunter Johnson’s thrown for 424 yards, 4 touchdowns and 4 picks on 60% passing while Evan Hull leads Northwestern’s ground attack with 478 yards and 4 TDs. Anthony Tyus III and Andrew Clair each have 100+ rushing yards while Stephon Robinson Jr., Bryce Kirtz and Malik Washington all have 100+ receiving yards this season. On defense, Chris Bergin leads the Wildcats with 45 total tackles while Jeremy Meiser has 3 sacks and Adetomiwa Adebawore and Jeffery Pooler Jr. each have 2.5 sacks this season.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers will try to bounce back from a crushing 23-20 OT loss to Michigan State last time out. Adrian Martinez has thrown for 1,268 yards, 5 touchdowns and 2 interceptions on 66.9% passing while also rushing for a team-high 355 yards and 6 scores on the ground. Rahmir Johnson, Markese Stepp and Gabe Ervin Jr. each have 100+ rushing yards while Samori Toure leads Nebraska with 375  receiving yards. Five more Huskers have 100+ receiving yards this season. On defense, Nick Henrich has a team-high 39 total tackles while Pheldarius Payne has a pair of sacks this season.

Northwestern is 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record and 24-10-1 ATS in their last 35 home games while the under is 7-2 in their last 9 conference games. Nebraska is 3-0-1 ATS in their last4 games overall and 8-18 ATS in their last 26 home games while the under is 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 conference games.

I want nothing to do with either of these teams, which is upsetting on one side because I am a Pat Fitzgerald fan, but the Wildcats just don’t do it for me right now. Also, if you’ve followed me, you know my hatred for the Scott Frost-led Cornhuskers. Instead, I’m going to side with the under as this just feels like a first to 20 wins kind of scenario and I don’t envision many points being scored here.
