The Pittsburgh Panthers and Miami Hurricanes meet in week 9 ACC college football action from Heinz Field on Saturday afternoon.

The Miami Hurricanes will be out to add to their 31-30 win over NC State in their last game. Tyler Van Dyke has thrown for 1,062 yards, 9 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on 58.8% passing while Cam’Ron Harris has a team-high 409 rushing yards and Jaylan Robinson has 219 rushing yards this season. Charleston Rambo leads Miami’s receiving corps with 549 receiving yards while three other Hurricanes have at least 200 receiving yards and another three have at least 100 receiving yards this season. On defense, Bubba Bolden leads the ‘Canes with 42 total tackles while Jahfari Harvey and Chantz Williams each have 2.5 sacks this season.

The Pitt Panthers will look to add to their 27-17 win over Clemson in their last game. Kenny Pickett has thrown for 2,236 yards, 23 touchdowns and one interception on 68.9% passing while Israel Abanikanda has a team-high 403 rushing yards. Vincent Davis and Rodney Hammond Jr. each have 250+ rushing yards and 3 rushing TDs apiece this season. Jordan Addison leads Pitt’s receiving group with 39 grabs for 670 yards and 10 touchdowns while Taysir Mack and Jared Wayne each have 300+ receiving yards. Lucas Krull’s got 240 receiving yards and another five Panthers have at least 100 receiving yards this season. On defense, Brandon Hill leads the way with 39 total tackles while Habakkuk Baldonado has a team-high 5.5 sacks this season.

Miami is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a road underdog and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games following a win. Pitt is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games as a home favorite.

This is a tough one to call as both teams have found their groove as of late, but both teams have also been involved in shootouts at some point this season. With that said, I’m leaning towards the over here as I think both teams find their scoring groove once again and help drive us well over this number.
