The Washington Huskies meet the Oregon Ducks Saturday in week 10 PAC-12 college football action from Husky Stadium. Oregon is fresh off a game versus Colorado. The Ducks would go on to a 23-point victory to move to 7-1 on the year. As for the Huskies, they played Stanford in their last game. In that one Washington powered out a win by a touchdown. Oregon won their first four games of the year, beating Fresno State, Ohio State, Stony Brook and Arizona before an OT loss to Stanford. The Ducks got back to business afterward with wins over California and UCLA in their next pair.

In last weekend’s matchup versus Colorado, the Ducks scored double-digit points in three different quarters on the way to a 52-29 victory. QB Anthony Brown put up 307 yards with three scores, and Byron Cardwell managed 127 yards with one TD on seven carries.

Over on the Huskies’ side, they went 2-2 over their first quartet with losses to Montana and Michigan before victories against Arkansas State and California. Washington would then lose to Oregon State and UCLA before beating Arizona 21-16.

In the matchup versus Stanford, the Huskies were able to withstand 10 points by the Cardinal in the final quarter during a 20-13 win. QB Dylan Morris finished on 146 yards and a TD. Sean McGrew added 114 rush yards and Jalen McMilan had 84 yards and a TD from six catches.

The Ducks are 1-5 ATS in their last six overall and 0-4 ATS in their last four on turf. Oregon is also 1-4 ATS in their last five conference games

Meanwhile, the Huskies are 2-5 ATS versus a team with a winning record and 1-5 ATS in their last six after an ATS win. Washington is 1-5 ATS in their last six at home as well.

PICK: I’m staying on Oregon. The Ducks put up another impressive performance against an overmatched Colorado team in their last outing. Oregon finished with 568 total yards, 312 pass yards, 7.9 yards per play, 32 first downs and a nice 7-of-10 mark on third-down tries. It was a dominant effort from nearly every angle.

As for the Huskies, they did a solid defensive job against Stanford with 71 rush yards allowed, 17 first downs and three turnovers. It’s going to be much harder to stop the Ducks’ offensive attack however, so I think Oregon is a better fit for the cover.
