The Colorado Buffaloes meet the Washington Huskies on Saturday in week 12 Pac-12 college football action from Folsom Field. Washington is coming off a matchup versus Arizona State. The Huskies ended up losing by five points there. As for the Buffaloes, they played UCLA this past Saturday. In that one Colorado lost by 24 points. Washington went 2-2 over their first four games this year, beating Arkansas State and Cal after losses to Montana and Michigan. The Huskies went 2-3 in their next five, with losses to Oregon State, UCLA and Oregon mixed in with wins over Arizona and Stanford.

Last weekend versus Arizona State, the Huskies had a 17-7 halftime edge but lost the game 35-30 after coughing up 21 fourth-quarter points. QB Dylan Morris had 151 yards with a TD and a pick, and Cameron Davis led the rush with 67 yards and a score from 18 carries.

Over on the Buffaloes’ side, they tumbled to a 1-4 start over their first five games with losses to Texas A&M, Minnesota, Arizona State and USC. Colorado went 2-2 after that with losses to Cal and Oregon alongside wins over Arizona and Oregon State (OT).

The Buffaloes played UCLA in their last matchup. Colorado gave up 34 unanswered points in the second half on the way to a 44-20 loss. Brendon Lewis threw for 158 yards on 17-of-26 passing, and Jarek Broussard had 108 yards from 16 carries.

The Huskies are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 on grass and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 overall. Washington is 1-4 ATS in their last five road games.

Meanwhile, the Buffaloes are 4-1 ATS in their last five in November and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 on grass. The over is 5-1 in their last six in November.

PICK: I’m going to try Washington here, but probably staying away. Both these teams are coming off ugly games. The Huskies posted a tepid 266 total yards against the Sun Devils in their last loss, with 4.2 yards per play, 17 first downs and a pair of turnovers. Things really didn’t start falling apart until the fourth quarter, though.

As for the Buffaloes, they put up 359 total yards of offense but allowed 502 on the other side to UCLA and couldn’t do anything at all in the second half. I imagine this will be a pretty close matchup most of the way but I still like Washington better on the cover.
