The Tulane Green Wave meet the USF Bulls and the in week 12 AAC college football action from Yulman Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The USF Bulls will look to bounce back from a 45-28 loss to Cincinnati in their last game. Tommy MCClain has thrown for 1,534 yards, 5 touchdowns and 6 interceptions on 54.4% passing while Jaren Mangham has 560 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns for the Bulls this season. Kelley Joiner also has 377 rushing yards while Xavier Weaver leads the Bulls with 37 catches for 640 yards and Jimmy Horn Jr. has 325 receiving yards. Another four receivers have 100+ receiving yards as well for USF this season. As a team, Antonio Grier has a team-high 72 total tackles with 3 sacks and a pair of interceptions while Dwayne Boyles and Mekhi LaPointe each have a pair of interceptions.

The Tulane Green Wave will try to rebound from a 20-13 OT loss at the hands of Tulsa in their last game. Michael Pratt has thrown for 1,923 yards, 17 touchdowns and 5 interceptions on 57.4% passing while Cameron Carroll and Tyjae Spears have combined for 980 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns this season. Tyrick James leads Tulane with 27 grabs for 380 yards and 3 TDs while another five receivers have at least 200 receiving yards and another four receivers after that have at least 100 receiving yards on the year. On defense, Macon Clark and Dorian Williams each have a team-high 61 total tackles with JoJo Dorceus each putting up 4.5 sacks and Darius Hodges logging 4 sacks. Clark also has a team-high 3 intercetpions this season.

USF is 4-0 ATS following a loss and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall while the over is 6-1-1 in their last 8 games against a team with a losing record. Tulane is 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games as a home favorite and 21-8 ATS in their last 29 home games while the under is 7-3 in their last 10 conference games.

I get why Tulane would be favored at home, but the Green Wave have had their issues scoring and those issues haven’t come against the stronger teams in the AAC. USF doesn’t have a great record in their own right, but they’ve played the better teams tough and have had some success putting points on the board. I’ll take USF and the points here.
