This is a lot of points to lay in a bowl game, and I’m not running to the window to side with Wake Forest. However, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights weren’t good this season, and it’s tough to expect much from them here with them taking this game on short notice. Everybody on Rutgers thought the season was over and now has to get prepared for this contest. Not the easiest spot to be in, even if some guys are excited about another shot. Rutgers has no offense to speak of and has been held to 16 or fewer points in seven of its last nine games. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are one of the best offensive teams in the country, with a top-15 passing attack and a top-five scoring offense. Wake should roll here.
